My final year project was for a multi-use space within the centre of Preston, Lancashire. Proposals were to reuse the abandoned 3 storey Printshop and its adjoining 2 storey old stable building. 

The renovated and extended building would house a cafe, art gallery, art shop, a number of large workshops and studios, offices and to the top floor 2 small apartments for the resident artists. The extension was to wrap around the perimeter of the site creating a large internal courtyard which would be utilised by cafe visitors, and artists, blurring boundaries between public and private.
